What I Do

Professional, proficient, and personal flight instruction.

My mission is to provide the best flight instruction possible. I train in a professional environment, making sure your money and time are well-spent and not wasted. I train not to bare standards, but to proficiency and competency, ensuring you are completely comfortable with your airplane and the tasks laid out by the training. We train in a fun environment, trying to enjoy our time in the sky. After all, most people are flying airplanes because they enjoy flying, and I want to continue to cultivate that enjoyment. Lastly, I train with a high degree of safety, employing risk management, threat and error management, and aeronautical decision making to ensure all flights are carried out safely.

I am located near Washington DC, where I live and am based for my airline. However, I do travel, and am able to accommodate training almost anywhere in the country. If you are interested in training with me, please contact me and we can individualize a training plan.

My instruction is freelance and not associated with a flight school. I have a custom syllabus designed to accommodate Mooney transition training, although it can easily be applied to other models as well. All transition training completed using my syllabus satisfies the requirements of 14 CFR § 61.56 and can be signed off as a flight review (required every 24 calendar months to act as PIC) at no additional cost.

Instruction is available either on an hourly or daily basis, depending on your needs.
