About me
Hi! My name is Krikor.
I am a flight instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI) and airline pilot living near Washington, DC, and owned a beautiful 1976 Mooney F model (known as Vicky) for two years. I’ve been flying since I was 15, have been flight instructing since 2019 and working as an airline pilot since 2021. My experience includes expansive domestic and international operations both in the airline and general aviation environment as well as some international experience. I was involved in a lot of the maintenance work on my Mooney, which allowed me to have a solid understanding on how the machine operates below the floorboards. While I am currently based in the DMV area, I am available to travel to any location in the United States to conduct training for you. I currently work as a First Officer on a wide-body fleet for a major US airline. I hold an airline transport pilot certificate, multiple type ratings, with commercial privileges for airplane single engine land and sea.
Outside of aviation I am an avid hockey fan (go Capitals!) and travel often to visit friends and family. I have a BS in Aeronautics from Middle Tennessee State University and am working on an MSA in Aviation Safety with the Florida Institute of Technology.
Please feel free to contact me at any time using the information on the ‘contact me’ page above. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
